Congrats to Montgomery County (MD) Fire Chief Tommy Carr (and long time Secret List member) in his being announced as the new Fire Chief in Charleston, South Carolina. While a loss for Montgomery County, this is an absolute outstanding decision by the Mayor and Council along with acceptance (by Chief Carr) for the members of the Charleston FD, the community and to honor the memory of the 9 CFD Firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
